Professional Statement

Dr. Tyler understands that a treatment plan will only be successful if time is taken to understand each individual patient's wants and needs. She will listen to her patients and involve each patient in the decision-making process of establishing their care. She has worked in a multitude of clinical environments, including hospitals and emergency treatment clinics, city and rural community clinics, in substance-rehabilitation and in correctional settings, and with all demographics of patients including children and teens. Dr. Tyler is board certified in Psychiatry and completed her psychiatric residency training at UCSF Fresno. She completed her Medical Degree and PhD in Neuroscience at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She has won academic awards for her PhD research and her work has appeared in scientific journals.
