Professional Statement

Laura received her Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount St. Mary's University. She is certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and Spanish-language counseling. She has experience with LGBTQ+, individuals, groups, couples and family therapy, with adults, adolescents, children and the elderly, as well as clinical-forensic populations. Her most rewarding work as a therapist comes from working with historically underserved populations. She likes to spend her free time sketching, baking, spending time with her family and has a fondness for rescue dogs.
