Professional Statement

I am a clinical psychologist with an affectionate heart for therapy. I tend to be sharp, comfy, and warm with my clients (and firm as needed). And I love going deep in therapy when we are ready. Therapy often starts with a client wanting to fix a stressful problem. I help my clients explore their patterns around the problem, often helping them understand themselves better. I love it when my clients let out important pieces of themselves that connect meaningfully, drawing a clear picture of who they are and who they want to be. The client can then make willing choices about their problem, discovering and rebuilding the self as they do so. I am often deeply moved and honored to be a witness and partner in this process of liberation and growth.
