Professional Statement

I am a licensed Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After completing six years of training at San Diego State University I began practicing psychotherapy. Fifteen years later I completed doctoral training at California Southern University. I have experience working in hospital and outpatient settings. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders but also treat depression, addiction, and trauma. I have advanced certification and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have received specialized training in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also have experience helping people by utilizing mindfulness-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Outside of behavioral health care, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and schnauzer.
