Professional Statement

I am a licensed clinical social worker and long term Oakland resident. I have an extensive history working with youth, emerging adults, and people in transition. I take a client centered and collaborative approach and believe that each person is the expert on their own lives. In my experience I have supported people through a range of experiences, from coping with day to day struggles to complex trauma, including intergenerational violence and sexual assault survivors. I draw on a variety of modalities, from relational psychology to narrative therapy, and work to find the best fit for your needs. I believe in each individual's capacity to heal and work to support people in developing more rich stories of their lives.
